OMB Energy Scorecard- What are the Fleet performance measures?
Struggling to get those red lights to turn green?  Come to this session to learn more about the new requirements and goals in President Bush's Executive Order 13423 on Strengthening Federal Environmental, Energy, and Transportation Management and the Energy Policy Act of 2005.  It will address government-wide policy and results to date as well as expectations for the January 2008 OMB Scorecard.  Speakers will also discuss the mechanics of implementing these requirements.

This program underwent an exciting revision in 2006 and the final result is a seven-course modular designation that covers disciplines such as Asset Management, Maintenance Management, Vehicle Fuel Management, Risk Management, Business Management, Financial Management, and Information Management. Candidates follow a computer-based, distance-learning package in order to earn the designation.

In 2000, and again in 2005, the Department of State's (DoS) International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, Office of Aviation won the Federal Aviation Program Award. This successful and innovative aviation program has been successful in large part due to its highly motivated personnel. This presentation will illustrate how the DoS complies with not only the FMR 102-33 but pertinent sections of the NTSB and FAA regulations, and industry "best practices".

This presentation will discuss how system safety applies technical and managerial skills to identify, analyze, assess, mitigate, and control hazards and risks within an aviation program. System safety includes the people, the "corporate culture", attitudes, procedures, materials, tools, equipment, and facilities of any Federal aviation safety program. System safety method of using analytical tools and models, decision support tools, and training to enhance aviation safety will be discussed.

Cockpit investigation technology and failure examination will be discussed and well as the FAA's responsibilities in an aircraft accident investigation. You will become aware of policies and procedures for coordinating aircraft accident investigation details with the NTSB, other agencies, and aircraft manufacturers. Accident report preparation will also be discussed.

FAST - I'm New to FAST: What Am I Supposed To Do?
If you have recently been made responsible for FAST data entry in your agency, this is the session for you.
